I think i've lost my voice!

Never could of told there was two leagues above us and we rested chens and had our two first choice defenders not playing too.

We battled hard and got what we deserved. Thank god the penalty maidenhead had was saved as that would of been gutting if they took the lead with that.

This result bodes very well for next season IF we go up. Lets focus on winning the leauge. We know we are good enough now!!

COME ON WINDSOR!!!!

Have to say it was a cracking match and praise to both sets of players and heaven forbid the ref. Although the penalty never should have been (quotes from both sets of fans not just a biased view) it was the lino who gave it so really the ref has little choice. The Maidenhead player who was kicked by Wallace in the first half got straight up and I got the feeling the game was played in a very good manner at a very fast tempo.

Big pluses include Weedon, who in my opinion is a good player, had a very strong game, Jake looked superb (who along with Rob was my MOM) and lets give credit to Cahill who also had a very good game. Bruce keeps getting better and better regardless of where he is played and Coyne looked fit again.

If we play like that we will get a double this season, the players just need to keep believing and no one will touch us.

I am VERY excited about a cup final

Agree Fuzzy. Tonight beating our biggest rivals at their own ground was quality. We showed tonight what it will take to win the leauge. Grit.

As for the goal...Did anyone else think when the maidenhead defender it was going in!? When Dazza is starting chants you know its an impressive performance!

Result of the season so far...

I will say this in a huisshed voice, but i think the overall performance, considering the opposition (a more or less full Conf Sth promotion hopeful who looked like they wanted it) the fact it was a cup semi with a winnable final after the end of the season and a local derby; I think it was better than the Slough performance. A very thorough total team (including all subs) performance and showing a little strength in depth that will also be needed to win the league.

And Dazza starting songs, whatever next, Geggy on a train?!?!?!?

According to that site the final is at MK Dons.

As for maidenhead's report i see it also says it was our first team. Well i'd of said Willo, Chenns, Coops and Butler are all first choice players. Maidenhead really cannot afford to go up so last night was one of the bigger games of their season.

Fair play to both teams last night, it made a nice change to see 2 sides play the game is the right way by keeping the ball on the floor whenever possible. Even the ref had a decent game, although to be fair he didn't have much to do apart from listen to the linesman for that rather dubious penalty.

It was a good all round team display but special praise should be given to the non first choice players who played last night, they were all excellent. I was particularly impressed with Wheedon who looked composed with and without the ball.

Hopefully if we gain promotion we're encounter more teams who like to play football rather than the "if in doubt boot it" type of sides we regularly play in our league.

Looking forward to the final already!

Good game last night! Thought both Jake and Rob had an excellent night. MK dons stadium here we come!

just looked at the stadium website and it says amoungst other things no Camera's inside the ground... Does anyone know if this is just for Dons games or a general stadium rule there, as I will be gutted if we play there and I don't get to take my camera and get some good photos.

Oddly it also says any flags over 1.5m require a fire certificate?!?!?!?!

Or radio's and golf umbrellas.... especially not radio controlled golf umbrellas..

It also says any item likely to cause injury, does that include our central mid field?

i can't see it will be a fire risk as the amount of people there compaired to the 22000 seats means we will probably have a fire exit each!

Perhaps I can contact them and pursuade them i'm the official windsor photographer.. I might get a nice coloured bib and everything! lol

Come on, its a final, surely we will fill the stadium, isn't that why they have scheduled it for the largest stadium in Berks or Bucks. If not then surely they would have chosen Wycombe, or Reading as it is closer for both clubs andd more convenient.

Oh, hold on, my mistake its the Berks & Bucks, we should be grateful it isn't at Abingdon, or Chalfont or Flackwell or Beaconsfield or any of those extremely unsuitable and poor grounds.

At least it is a new ground to go to and if we win who gives a $**t

Is this going to be a train journey perchance?

What a great night out! (Even though some idiot locked the turnstiles and I had to walk halfway round Berkshire to get back to my bike)

Superb performance by everybody. I'll admit I was a bit worried by the back four selection - especially after half time when Ryan and the Tilburnator came off - but they were all magnificent (I especially appreciated the occasional lapse just to let Bully show off his goalkeeping skills!)

Chennells had a great game - brilliant plan to keep him on the bench. Obviously following the pre-match game plan, the Maidenhead centrebacks spent the entire game marking our dugout!

Maidenhead looked pretty good, too; particularly 3, 5 and the keeper who I thought were really talented. It would have been a shame if 5 had actually put the ball in his own net for the winner after the way he'd played.

And - you may want to make a note of this date in your diaries - I'm even going to say "Well done" to the officials.

As for the final, is MK definite? I heard a rumour it might be transferred to Wycombe. I don't like the sound of all those restictions at FC Franchise's ground, but the most worrying one is "No real football supporters" which has been in force since they moved from Wimbledon.

Bring on - oh what the hell - bring on ANYBODY!!!
