Some players apparently were told told by himself that he had signed..........dont understand the speculation. Unless he was just playing lipservice to cloak things happening elsewhere. Very strange.

It is rumoured that he has a better offer elsewhere (Alans word - "gazumped") & that he had taken up that offer..There's nothing official from our club (not unusual) about this so there must be some hope that he is staying.

No doubt the first we know the truth will be on Saturday when the line-up is announced. Big big loss if he has gone.

I'm the first to agree that LH is a quality player and i really would love to see him in a margate shirt next season.

 

having said that, we do have a nucleous of 15/16 other good players;and whatever happens;its not all about one player.

I'd like to claim my earlier comment to be prophetic, but the situation is all too common.

Would he have to be registered 48 hours before the game or something? If so, its pretty done and dusted either way, isn't it? Some news would be good.

Well according to todays local Terry says he is 95% certain we have lost him to another Ryman Premier club, think most of us know who that is then!

 

If he has gone I for one wish him all the best, he has certainly helped us in our quest for Ryman saftey whilst he was here.

Not being in the inner circle I have no idea about the club but are we guessing Dover. Cant argue if he is going to a higher standard.

Oh right, used to play for them didnt he? Plus they throw the cash around a bit there. Still, like you say he has done great for us. Think Jack will do OK but we're going to be light without Dan for next two games.

And in fairness any "change of heart" could have been influenced by Bristol Rovers as well as the risk of us being relegated.
