Why can't we accept we got beat by the better performing team on the night,nothing to do with the referee.Abingdon were far livelier and Slough appeared sluggish.

Give Steve Bateman time,though,so he can assess what he's got in our squad.

Finding out who's willing to work hard for the team can only be done on a matchday not on the training ground.I thought Yas Romeo was excellent last night,even though I prefer him as an out and out striker.

My gripes from last night was why bother playing Matthew Platt for 90 minutes,if he's not going to be around next year.Surely better as an impact player from bench.Due to our poor footballing skills in first half,I thought Roy Gumbs would have been useful up front in the second half and we could have played a far more direct approach ie high ball's into the box.Disappointed Steve Bateman didn't use all three subs,too.

The ref certainly was poor last night, however had he not have played advantage in the build up to Abingdon's third goal, then Luke Evans without doubt would have picked up a second yellow card for the foul he committed on the Abingdon forward. At least we do not have another player suspended.

Goes to prove some benefit can come out of mediocrity.

I thought it was a professional foul by Evans because he was the last man and the player would have been clean through.

It was only a stroke of luck that the ball broke to one their players and the Ref played the advantage.

While we're still in danger of going down imo you have to play your leading scorer from the start. Once we are safe then you can start changing things.
