last week we travelled to southend manor and played in terrible conditions, i cant agree with silencer that it made a good spectacle but we got the match played,im NOT having a pop at no one here but are we postponing matches now that would have taken place 5 years ago??

We had a pitch inspection for ground grading and a planning application for a new stand has been submitted to the Rochford Council.We are waiting for the letter from the Council and all things has been set in motion to make sure we get the grading.It's a similar situation to a lot of clubs all over the country.Sure is better having a ground rather then not having it at all and rely on goodwill from other clubs for ground sharing...

It's no good having the best stand in Step 5 if your pitch can't stand up to a few showers.
