No need to get personal with insults is there... I am simply stating that if a pitch is 'WATERLOGGED' four hours before kick off (and by that term it means that the pitch is unplayable) then how can EFC say that the pitch will be of for a wednesday night re-schedule.

If the pitch is waterlooged, another slight downfall would only make the pitch more unplayable for the following evening. It just does'nt make sense, I am not moaning about the postponement, but I am moaning that Enfield could play it Wednesday, it just does'nt make sense.

It is not as though you have a state of the art drying system or 100 volunteers with hairdryers is it?

As for Coachy...he is just a stirrer and many people on here and away from here dislike him. I personally actually stick up for him, but at time like this is fella is just a wally.

i live in ware - it was raining all day sunday and monday. then froze monday night. more rain tuesday early AM

when i read postboned - not supprised more disappointed,

the pitch as other posters have stated was not in the best of health to start with.

p.s. dont remenber the drainage at the manor being lords like in its efficiency.

Garffy...I am not debating the postponement. I am simply stating, how can the game be a 100% no go on Tuesday 4 hours before kick off, but it is ok for the following evening! What if it rained again, my annoyance and arguement is that sureley if the pitch is bad enough to be postponed on the tuesday then it would'nt take much rain in the next 28 hours for it to be called off again!!!!!!!!!

Then I must have been at the one place you know he wouldn't have been allowed in - The Sportsmans Bar. laugh

I kid you not, about 400 yards from the ground is a pub called The Dyke Tavern. When the bouncer said we couldn't go in I asked if we could just stand outside and watch!

That Withdean Stadium, it's like London bl00dy Apsa with more seats.

Not wrong mate....The view was terrible. Worth the trip though for Barney's strike, a cheeky away win (daylight robbery) and the chorus of "Down with the Orient....Your going down with th Orient"

Trenks...they had cracking double Cheeseburgers for sale hump
