Enfield vs Southend Manor

Recommended Posts

What a f ucking joke.

How can the pitch be ok for tomorrow but not for tonight????

Unless they can guarantee no rain, or maybe the rain after tonight may not be wet rain and therefore the pitch would'nt be waterlogged tomorrow.

Absolute jokers!!! What a statement to make!!!

What??

Excuse me being rude, just a little unhappy! Also, your comments are unbelievable IMHO

So you want Manor to get a team together for 2moz, all of us book time off work AGAIN, all row with the birds/wives, all make arrangements to get up to Ware....Then at 4.30pm the inspection might call the game off again. Sureley if the it rains even a little bit, the game will be off on the basis that the pitch really is waterlogged tonight!!

What ref did the inspection?

Syrup...if you don't mind me asking, could you answer the following please?

How waterlogged was the pitch, or was it certain areas? The pitch must be bad to call it off at 3.30pm!!

Also, could you advise me if it is currently raining now?

Thanks

I remember playing Enfield last season, on the same night that Croatia beat England at Wemberly, with half a squad, in possibly the worst conditions and on the muddiest pitch I have ever played on, after 2 weeks worth of rain....must have had a strong side that night aye..as there is no way the pitch would be half as bad as it was that night today.

And as for saying it will be ok by tomorrow...why waste your time with such a statement..!!

The pitch at Ware has been bad all season. It rained heavy last night and i was not surprised it was called off. I don't why you are having a go at Syrup, the ref called it off. Syrup like everybody else is trying to get theses games played. At least you knew well in advance, unlike when are game at Bowers was called off. All the players and some supporters had arrived, this happened at Romford too (due to frost). We did not moan about it, just got on with it.

Mate that was the worst football pitch i have ever played on that night with the ball not rolling more than a few inches in some places. Thunder and Lightening over head and full blown puddles all over the pitch!!

Came off looking like i'd just done the Maldon Annual Mud Race across the Crouch and that was just half-time!!! bigshock

Must be like a pond tonight!!

I just believe that when the match day official calls it off we should all respect his decision and get on with it.It seems like the Romford virus is spreading fast.LC,a word with clubs secretaries would go a long way but i bet they will deny any connections with people on here. It's all unofficial!!Takeley calls it off and people moan,Hullbridge calls it off and WW3 starts,Enfield calls it off and a poem is written,Southend Manor calls it off and Rich 1913 is not happy,Apsa calls it off because of a frozen, flagsless and dug-outsless pitch and we are fine. Take a break chaps, have kit-kat and make love to chickens as a BNP member says!

Syrup, you have done what every secretary does in this case. It's just the usual remarks that don't show any consideration, understanding or respect for the work you and the match officials do behind the scenes.
