If you really believe that's true, then I think idiot is being quite kind.

Although I have no idea of the "whys and wherefores" my guess is that either Bradley or the Club (or both) have decided that BWG won't be here next season so the best thing for all concerned is to try and find him a new club now and free up some money to bring someone else in, although we would have to move quite quickly to get someone in before the end of March.

While he's here (and he may well stay, who knows) I'm sure everyone will continue to get behind him and the rest of the team just like they've doing lately blush

Come on you Blues!!

If I offeneded you then I apologize, my comment wasn't about you, it was about your ungenerous and vastly inaccurate post.

As a long standing supporter of of 34 years I'm sure you have seen it all before, and understand that there could be any number of reasons for the listing of BWG. If you want to come and see me tomorrow I will be more than happy to explain.

This is not an official view but if we were to have some "even handed" speculation, I don't think this is far off the mark, in my opinion. I was of the opinion (again, not an official one) that Bradley was on a year contract and being a very ambitious person has always wanted to play higher up the pyramid. That doesn't mean he doesn't like Billericay Town FC and has said before (in his "Gift Of The Gazz" interview) that he would only play for Billericay at this level.

From TC's posts, it looks as if it is mutual but again, that is only reading between the lines and by no means "fact".

As we have seen this season, being put on the transfer list isn't the end of your playing days at the club and I would hope that in order to attract a of club he wants to go to he would continue to turn in some good performances.

In circumstances like these, I think that whatever is agreed between player and club is down to both parties to publish and the forum is not the place. Should they wish to, the official web site would be the place for such news...but then again, those of us that thrive in specualtion and conspiracy would only (try) to drive a truck through the explaination and make something of it that isn't there on this forum. That is what forums are for. Discussion, not "official" explainations. Again, whatever the two parties do in releasing the news they will be "Damned if you do, damned if you don't". We are no different than most clubs in that respect (I have been reading the "Sloppy Box" - not the happiest of forums, IMO).

The offer has been made to speak to The Chairman, The Managers and BWG hismself and ask questions of the situation. I suggest that people do that if they wish to know more.

Now...about dinosaurs...

...they were big "buggers", weren't they.

Yo chaps ! In many ways workings at a football club are not too disimilar from the workings of a "company". Things go on behind the scenes and companies have to change in order to keep abreast of things. In many ways i am not too surprised with Bradders being made "available", as (imo) for the games i have managed to see this term the potential is there but just never quite uses it in the correct manner. I am a fan of Bradders and loved it when he came to the club, and (who knows) we may see Bradders playing for us regularly still, but for whatever reason perhaps it is not right at this moment in time.

Also, i remember when recently Flackie, Hunts etc were put on transfer list and nothing materialised - And years back in the Calder days when he transfer listed the WHOLE team ! Including Joe Baker !

Things happen and just like everyone who works...things happen at work...and like probably a vast number of folk we are desperately trying to keep a job ourselves.

Guess what i am saying in a bumbling way is "lets see what happens"

P.S. If Joe Baker was made available then anyone can smile

Now then...Canvey tonight, and i can come !!! But that is at the expense of having to miss the semi !!! Aghrrrrrrrhhhhh

As I recall, BWG's presence this season was an unexpected bonus. Although it also presumably had a restrictive influence on bringing in new players. If he moves up the pyramid I'm sure we'd all wish him well.

It was indeed my theory, all mine and no one else's...

Anyway...

I think that all good, right thinking people in this country are sick and tired of being told that all good, right thinking people in this country are fed up with being told that all good, right thinking people in this country are fed up with being sick and tired. I'm certainly not, and I'm sick and tired of being told that I am
