How many get relegated ?

Hi all, I was talking with some friends this morning, whilst watching Gen. Sports and we all seemed to have different versions of how many teams are to be relegated from the Ryman Premier this season. I thought it was 3 but maybe 4, others thought that it was 4 and another thought that 4th to bottom had to play a play-off.

Could someone let me know please as it's really starting to puzzle me. Thankyou.

Bottom 3 go down, the team who finished 4th bottom will then have its record compared with the teams finishing 4th bottom in the NPL and SPL and whoever has the worst will get relegated.

However with the likes of Fisher Athletic, Lewes, Weymouth ect. facing possibe liquidation then there is a chance that some teams could face reprival like Boreham Wood did last season.

I think you're right MM. It looks like 12 up and down into and out of IPL, NPL and SPL. So I'd better change where the lines are on the league tables used on the official website!

a geographical switch, where the Southern League is split into East and West divisions (rather than the largely North and South divide of this term) and the Isthmian League gets Suffolk back at 1N and 1S level.

This would mean a few western Isthmian clubs switching to the Southern.

Kempster's Isthmian Premier line-up for next term:

Ashford(Mx), Aveley, Billericay, Bognor, Borehamwood, Canvey, Carshalton, Dartford, E.Thurrock, Fisher, Harlow, Harrow, Hastings, Hornchurch, Horsham, Kingstonian, Maidstone, Sutton, Tonbridge, Tooting, Wealdstone, Worthing.

Kempster's prefered Step Four line-up:

One North:

Brentwood, Bury Town, Cheshunt, Concord, Enfield Town, G.Wakering, Heybridge, Ilford, Leyton, Lowestoft, Maldon, Potters Bar, Redbridge, Romford, Soham, Sudbury, Thamesmead, Tilbury, Waltham Abbey, Waltham Forest, Ware, Wingate&F.

One South:

Ashford, Burgess Hill, Chatham, Chipstead, Cor-Cas, Cray, Croydon Ath, Dulwich, Eastbourne T, Folkestone, Horsham YMCA, Hythe, Leatherhead, Margate, Merstham, Met.Police, Ramsgate, Sittingbourne, Walton&H, Walton Cas, Whitstable, Whyteleafe.

Southern One East:

AFC Hayes, Andover, Arlesey Town, Aylesbury, Beac.SYCOB, Bedfont G, Burnham, Chesham, Dunstable, Fleet, Godalming, Gosport, Harefield, Hendon, Hungerford, Leighton, Marlow, Northwood, Poole, Slough, Thatcham, Uxbridge.

Is Hastings on this list? what with no floodlights and what about Hendon with no ground.

There's one thing you lot are all forgetting. If Thurrock get saved by Team Bath that means Thurrock will not be going down which means the club that finishes 19th place will be saved to fill that spot surely? I would've thought it effects the whole pyramid down.
