God, this depresses me. Just what is the point??

 

This is a game for the most nerdy of computer nerds. Have people really not nothing better to do with their lives? Go out and get laid or something, get pissed, whatever, but please stop wasting your lives playing virtual reality football on a CD Rom.

Too right EFMTFTV. I enjoy playing it but still have time to go out on the piss and do other things. As long as you don't let it take over your life like some people do then that's OK.

It's difficult to balance a 'good' CM4 career and a social life though my lemon-coloured pal, I don't know about you but if I play CM I have to do it properly and play for a good 3/4 hours straight, which means I hardly play it all...

I find that very offensive Zeal! So that means most of the people on this board including EFMTFTV, GHA and myself are nerds just because we enjoy Champ Manager. At the end of the day you either like it or loath it.

 

Personally I find it a very challenging game that keeps the brain active. I'd rather play it than watch some of the s..t that's on TV at the moment.

 

I admit some people take it far too seriously and spend most of their time behind a computer screen when they should be out getting drunk but not all people who play Champ Manager are nerds!

 

Now train spotiing/plane spotting that is for nerds!

I'm a techno nerd Yellow Army,though it's a case of life priorities. Definitely getting laid and going down the boozer are far more important than playing computer games. After all, don't you get fed up hearing how someone else took Stevenage or some such from Conference to European Cup Winners, it's only interesting for those involved.

 

Zeal- the whole reason me and my mates got into this game was playing 72hour multiplayer long weekend stretches whilst overindulging in alcohol, birds and loud music. This ties up with my memories of Acquiesce played back to back with London Loves- good times...

 

You'd spot trains if you could Yellowarmy, but British rail obviously saw sense not extending the line as far as your island!
