just glad we played well for 2 3rds of the season. Not going great at the moment. Still, was top for a while and were candidates for promotion even though we never applied. Never flirted with relegation though!! First time out of the top 6 all season.

 

Our bad run started at Bedfont which i feel was down to all the aviation fumes clogging our air ways and the over expensive cans of coke!!. Never been right since.

Epsom & E 4-1 Bookham

 

Good win for Epsom but not the best performance from Bookham and matched by the officials today.

 

Some poor goals given away today but not to take any credit from Epsom they played well, well organised team with goosd movement all round the pitch.

 

Good luck to them for the run in to keep it exciting to the end of the season.

Well I went to Ash V Bedfont Green today. Firstly the biggest travesty in the league happened here today.........................................no burgers. What kind of a two bit organisation has no burgers.

 

That aside, this game was a coast for Green as soon as the idiotic number 7 for Ash saw red. Shame as it started out as a good match up with Ash taking the lead from a pen only for 2 quick fire goals from Bedfont to turn it around.

 

I watched the league champs in my opinion today.

Keep up the good work , as Guv No1 will not drop you , for you are doing your job, he does take note , in his days he was a good player too, hard but fair , did what he has to do. In other news, the City won our first game since the 17th of January and should have won by more than the single goal margin. First half was nothing to write home about but the match improved in the second and we should have scored a good 3 or 4 goals, despite having a man sent off.

Speaking of which, ever seen a man on crutches vault over a fence and start a fight? I have.

Butts like yourself I also played for Bedfont under Tom senior and loved it there albeit a short time...so I hope a continuation of good feeling between the club emerges until we play each other for 90 mins then get on again afterwards...

Still think Bedfont will be pushing top 4 next year along with us....If we don't go up.

Not sure but we have at home V raynes park vale....Should be a good game...
