Tough game today but looking at the report on the observer website Thatcham's manager had us watched at the Swindon game and didnt think much of us...Could he be in for a shock later?!

I really hope that SYCOB do us a favour today. A Dunlop winner would be the icing on the cake!

100% Effort and focus and we will win it. Simple as. On our day no side in the leauge can touch us. Come on Windsor!

I was right about SYCOB getting a win!!!

Good performance in strong winds and a shocker of a ref. Good thatcham side who could sneak into the play offs.

COME ON WINDSOOOOOOOOOR

Now for a game against our biggest rivals Maidenhead. We can win it as we seem to raise our game against the clubs higher up. A Final and winning the leauge would be the perfect way to cap off this season

Well, we still seemed to be playing within ourselves, but the midfield looked so much sharper with Coyney back. We deserved to win by a bit more, I think: Thatcham only really seemed to threaten on the break [although quite a few times the did break through, at that] while we had a lot of good worked attacks. And ironic that our goal came from a break and the more focussed attacks never quite worked... Chennels to the rescue once more.

Great play from Rob, too. On balance I'd be happier if he hadn't needed to make those saves, not to mention that headed clearance off the line, but he really worked for the clean sheet!

Rob is my player of the season. No doubt whatsoever about it.

Chenns's celebrations today showed it meant alot to him after last week. We'd already got word of Truro being 1-0 at that point and i expect the players may of aswell.

Out of interest what exactly is Mudge doing Sniffing around? Can't he freeload off some other club? ( If you do pay to get in i apologise but i doubt it)

And incidentally that's the end of our longest run this season without scoring - 252 minutes or so of play.

We were all celebrating that goal, and he richly deserved the moment... I thought Chenns might have made it thus far mostly unhurt only to get injured by Coyney!

The old saying "if you can't be good be lucky" was appropriate for yesterday. In truth we probably didn't play much better than last week but we somehow managed to keep a clean sheet which always gives you a chance of nicking the points. As per usual Rob was in fine form in goal.

To be fair Thatcham looked a good side and could definitely pip Didcot for the last play off place. We would have certainly lost this game the last couple of seasons.

Also fair play to both teams for keeping their tempers when it would have been easy to lose it having such a poor official. The ref was equally poor for both sides, somebody mentioned it was the same ref and linesman as we had against Slough and it showed.

It feels like we won 6 points yesterday with Truro losing. Hopefully the performances can jump back up a gear or 2 from the last couple of weeks as on our day we can give any team in this league a sound beating.

Oh, the linesman up at the bar end was having a very bad time. I don't know if the two completely wrong offsides were designed to make up for the ones he missed (and that's just the second half which I saw) but he seemed very tolerant of other fouls.

I've seen worse refs, though. This time he was maybe a bit slow with the cards, which was nice for Seeds but a few others on our side suffered for it; but I did like how he just waved off a lot of poor appeals. And he was probably balanced overall.

I think maybe Thatcham played too fast for us to look as good as we can, but we showed much better passing and movement than last week, it was more the final ball that was not working rather than not even getting started like last week. Ugly wins are better than no wins!

Like the Hayes game we just looked of the pace from our normal game. Defence looked a bit sluggish at times. The midfield was very strong in the first half but we just didn't create many chances. I guess this is what Totton went through a few weeks back, but we have managed to come away with the three points this time and hopefully we can pull ourselves out of it and get back to our flowing football before we lose another silly game.

As for the ref, he was pretty poor but other than a few good ones he has been of the level you can expect in our league.

But we have to remember, everyone wants to beat us, truro and totton, so we have to deal with that and just keep playing our game. Tomorrow may be a welcome escape from the pressure of the league, we are the underdogs and can play how we like without fear of losing
