Club Announcement

"The Directors, in meeting, have approved a resolution to increase the share capital of the Football Club from 500,000 to 1,000,000. These new shares will be offered first to existing shareholders and the remaining shares will be offered to anyone wishing to become a share holder of the Club".

Out of the existing 500,000 shares, how are they apportioned? Who owns the most etc? For the further 500,000 how many can be purchased by one person? How much is the cost of one share?

In fairness to the club, the notice clearly states application in writing to the club.

That's if you want to apply for shares. I'd like to know how much the true value of a share will be?

Don't get me wrong. I'm not knocking it. I'm all for the club surviving and making money. I'm a woman. I like to know everything smile

Good to get an update

 

As i understand that the club has minimal assets, has not made any profits for two years and thus no intrinsic value (at the moment ) and indeed-no different to most football clubs anyway outside of the premiership and championship- i would be very surprised if the shares were not issued at anything other than

All the above is very interesting and needs further explanation. I and I am sure others would be more than willing to become part of the club with a shareholders stake but what do we get, I still recall the "bricks" purchased for the new stadium and am suspicious of what this committment will mean. I have 17000 odd Millwall shares bought on a whim and they are currently worth about
