any other clubs getting sick of certain clubs taking advantage of complimentary passes?

at a recent match at the Hive one club turned up with no less than 12 complimentary passes,fecking shame on them!!

thats alright we will pay for the officials,floodlights and other expenses you keep your fiver,im not exactly a multi millionaire but fecking hell a fiver,come on!

and yes you do have to pay to gain entrance to a reserve match,i dont care if you dont pay at your ground you do at ours!! 3 fecking quid and they want to argue with you,its fecking embarassing!!

Aren't every ESL restricted to a fixed number of away freebie passes. I thought that it was six. Praps someone more in the know than me can clarify the situation.

What also p*sses me off is non-playing away club players feeling that they should get in free.

to be honest mate i havent got a problem with non playing away players but all relations should pay and girlfriends of players is a debatable area.

Why not scrap all the passes then ? Everyone that comes in then pays. I think the league give out 9 or 10 passes, some clubs will use them all, others only 1 or 2. If there were no passes clubs could be making an extra

How the f**k can you make squad players pay? They may still take part in the warm up or may be getting treatment for an injury or may be called into the squad if someone doesn't turn up or gets injured in the warm up.

If they are committee members of the visiting club, you have to let them in as you do for ESL officials. As for the rest, make them pay - be tougher - don't take any bullsh1t!

obviously some clubs have more committee members than others,teams like apsa,mauritius and bees have no real committee.

So if some clubs are blessed with a strong committee and they show their ESL pass cards for 2008/09, good luck to them, let them in, you have no choice.

Make sure that you catch the rest, the committee from other clubs trying to flash their cards, the managers of other clubs on a scouting mission, the fringe players of the visiting club (if they were in the matchday squad, they'd already be in the ground) all trying for a freebie. Ask for the money and if they won't pay - tough, don't let them in. I upset a few people last year at the Stadium but as you say it's only a fiver and every club has expenses.

I was referring to players who are taking absolutely no part in the proceedings on the day/evening. Just turning up in their normal clothes to watch their club like ordinary supporters.
