Thought that he said he would not play while Sweets was managing us? Know he's another centre back but still registered with us when were short on numbers?

Problem is, has he been training and is he fit. If not, at best he would be a body to put on the pitch if we have nobody else.

I think it would be great to see steve back and playing, he always seemed to provide a bit of stability and he was strong in the air.Good also to have a more senior player to go alongside some of the younger players.

But wasn't Daly's main problem that work had taken priority and was unable to make some training sessions and some mid-week games?

I think we should move forward.Steve Daly is finished as the good centre half, he was.A good servant to the club but time to move on.Fresher,faster legs are needed.

would be nice to see him make at least 1 more sub appearance maybe towards the end of the season to give him a fitting send off if he is to never play consistently for us anymore
