A shame really, a player that hasn't really been given a proper chance this season. Especially after joining the Club, with a good reputation being a former captain and long sought after by John Batch.

With all the money troubles at the Club it sounds like we can't sustain the squad we currently have. Could be a long, hard campaign next season.

I thought he done well when he played but i wouldn't have left any of our current defence out to play him and obviously Batchy felt the same. This could be down to the club tightening it's belt but it could also be that he was fed up and wanted to play football, i'm sure there are a few clubs looking to strengthen their squad to either push for promotion or get out of relegation who will be glad to sign him.

Good luck Ryan

Shame to see Ryan go. Thought he did well when he came into the side round about Xmas.

Don't think it worked out for him at Canvey and he was looking to get first team football elsewhere.

All the best to him.

What money troubles are they then???

As far as I am aware we have no money troubles!!!

We have no money!!

Therefore we have no troubles!!

As for next season, I would be gutted and bored if it was not a long hard campaign!!

Really though, those in charge will always pay their bills, thats why, we will be fine!!

no one likes to see players go, but Ryan seemed short on quality for the Ryman Prem. I'm sure he would do a job for a Ryman North team, but I'd be very surprised if we saw him playing for another Prem club. This was only his first season at the club and it's a shame he couldn't show more determination to fight for his place and more desire to play for the mighty yellows!

When he came to the club, Ryan had always been a leader on and off of the pitch from what I have read. However, he always seemed a bit subdued at Park Lane, maybe because he didn't have the captains role as he did at previous clubs.

He was a decent player and a nice fella, and I hope that he gets a new club soon - I'm sure he won't have much trouble.

Thanks Ryan!
