Canvey v Margate

Does any one else think that a decision is starting to get a bit overdue now ?

Written reports in by last weekend.

Ryman Board were going to discuss by conference calls as opposed to a meeting.

Would have thought puffs of white smoke are very imminent now and in fact overdue.

According to an article in the Isle of Thanet Gazette, confirmed by Terry Yorath, says that Canvey Island have said they do want the match to be played again. Keith Piper claims that Canvey directors said that they would not be seeking a rematch, immediately after the fiasco with the floodlights. Ryman League secretary Alan Turvey told the Gazette ''Whatever Margate may be saying, I don't think Canvey necessarily did say''.

I think we all need to consider that sometimes, just sometimes, newspaper articles are given false information. I don't know one way or the other if we have asked for a replay, as I have not spoken to any our board today. However, if Alan Turvey is saying that the statements that Margate are making may not be accurate, please don't judge CIFC until the full truth is revealed.
