Saturdays game

Taking into consideration who is likely to be available saturday i believe we should line up 4-4-2 again:

Harper

Evans

Allaway

smith

Bubb

DJ

sonny

Tom

Platty

Yash

 

A few players there that i wouldnt play regularly but there are a lot of players out atm

that team is fine IF evans and smith are available again

 

i fear DJ and Sonny in centre midfield gives us even less fight to get the ball in the centre of the field than maybe ever before this season

 

may even look at moving a defender into midfield to try and win us the type of midfield exchanges we lose out in time and time again

I spoke with Rory last night and he is expecting to be available for Saturday.

Mr rebel thats an interesting point as roy gumbs can play at the back well enough, would prob be allaway that i moved though and would be a tough call on dj or sonny for me

dont get me wrong i think Fermie does a really good job but other than if Brown is playing we seem a bit too half hearted at winning 50/50 balls and so often we pass possession to our opponents by not having the hunger to come out with the ball. if we could win the ball more in those instances we would have less pressure on the defence and better possession of the ball going forward from midfield instead of having to resort to the long ball game too often.

 

ideally of course we would get a replacement for Brown who is actually a midfielder but i realise that isnt going to happen straight away it will take time for Bateman to get players in
