8.3 All matches shall be of ninety minutes' duration. Any match not complying may

be ordered to stand as a completed match or replayed for the full period of ninety

minutes or the match awarded to the Club not at fault, as the Board may decide,

on such terms as the Board shall decide. The half-time interval in all matches shall

not exceed 15 minutes.

Where a match is abandoned for reasons over which neither Club has control, the

home Club shall retain the gate receipts of such uncompleted match and the Board

shall decide the terms upon which the replayed match shall be played.

Where a match is abandoned before Half Time the Home Club will issue a

voucher to spectators valid for free admission on the date of the rearranged match.

Where a match is abandoned after Half Time for whatever reason(s) no refund

voucher will be issued.

Is this the one that will kills us?

I read on the ryman forum that last season-Dovers game at chatham was abandonned with two minutes left-and result allowed to stand.

Not sure of score-or the competition-cup or league-but i assume it was under ryman governance.

Does that give us hope ?

believe the referee could have a big part to play here?,if my information is correct the power cut only lasted for about 5/10 min:.

when the club tried to get the lights back on they would not work, this i believe should make canvey island f.c the club at fault.

pretty sure the referee will have this in his report

No, it wasn't the clubs fault. The lights when out along with the rest of the Island and then refused to come back on when some power across Canvey came back.

Some is the key point there - not all of Canvey had power straight away and it would seem the floodlights were the same.

it was strange that the power came back at my house, but certain appliances were not working. The high powered ones: TV, computer etc.

it was not my intention to sugest your club had any intentions of not getting the game started.

but i am led to believe the power supply was back on at the ground?,the referee orderd the players back on the pitch?,it was then lights would not work.

this would sugest to me the fault (in the end)was with the lights.

as i see it 82 min; game STOPPED power failure,5?10min;later game on referee ready to play, few more minutes game abandoned floodlights failed.

why the lights would not come on will be down to the league officials to decide.
