On what basis....the pitch was in exceptional condition, even your players were saying so and also mentioned how they wish that Basildon's pitch was like Mnaor's.

True, the wind was apalling but not a heatlth and saftey risk and both sides had to put up with the conditions. Thought the game would have been a decent spectacle Rich. Manor played the conditions better and played the football on the deck.

Also....it might Pain you but JJ scores v Basildon again ha ha. Think that 8 in 6/7 games since I left now bootyshake

Groyney done well and raised a decent sum!

How was is in your nice warm bed last night you big girls blouse while the REAL supporters stood in the pouring rain and got soaked through and through?

I had to leave my Borocoat and jeans in the bath last night they were so wet!

Even Beeswax and Hookey braved the elements when you couldn't be bothered to make it! Well done and many thanks fellas.

It seemed like a good idea at the time, when Beeswax said "Fancy going to Lower Road to watch Hullbridge v Romford".

My God what a night weather wise. At one point in the second half, we were taking refuge in the shelter (Can't really call it a stand) when I turned to Beeser and said "I understand why this lot are here, but what the f**k are we doing here"?

As for the game, Romford just edged it, as the score suggests, but Coachie can be proud of his young lads. If Lloyd Wilson had shown a bit more composure in front of goal, Hullbridge could have gone into the break 2-1 up.
