We can't go down, so...

....now is the time to get rid of this pathetic management team, appoint one decent manager with a track record of success at this level and let him use the remainder of the season to put together a group of players that will gel as the season comes to an end and who will then have a good pre-season and, hopefully a successful 2009/10.

I also agree with Happy, but would like to see Steve Browne in charge for the rest of the season to give him a chance to prove himself.

If it went to a supporter vote I suppose SB would win.

SM has not proved to me that he can do the job and let's face it he has had since June to sort out "his team" but we have not seen much positive yet.

His cv and Club history is not particularly good either where he has Managed teams down the lower end of the League - exactly where Town are now !!

As for SB - he seems to have come in and made so, so many changes that supporters don't even know who is who anymore.

The overall view seems to be that apart from 2 or 3 the SB Players are no better that what we had.

So this = no improvement.

On Sat there appeared to be a lack of decision making between the two of them, which cannot be good for anyone especially the Players.

If SB goes several "new signings" will surely be on their way thro' the revolving door. These new Players do not appear to show any form of loyalty to the Club but only SB.

So, perhaps if the Board cannot decide what to do, there should be a supporters vote.

Short term I would go with SB, but long term, not sure - he still has a lot to prove in my book.

What-ever, this season is a lost cause and if we do not get it sorted sooner rather than later - next season could end up being the same !!

Really? You have for a long time defended SM while I questioned his management, but I do believe that even the biggest stalwart must agree its thanks very much see you around time now.

The only reason I agree will be based upon that they are both number 1 material, if tinkering is needed with the manager then asking SM to go 'upstairs' may be an option and allow SB a clear run between now and into next season where he can assemble his squad to challenge the right end of the league.

Saying that, i'll go out my way after tonights game to have a chat with SB and see where and what is going to happen between now and the end of the season, I suggest we all have that line of approach too, constructively.

I'd go with that.

I would have thought that after our recent "run" of results SM would / should be considering his position.

June - March and 54 players selected from the 78 signed on, seems a fair "probation period" that clearly has not / is not, working.

We have seen very little sign of improvement other than the odd game and are now drifting down the League.

At this rate 2009 - 2010 could also be a disaster.
