Slough Heating FC

I play for Burnham Seniors on a Saturday in the Giles Insurance Football League and I have been told that Slough Heating will be playing all their home games at the Park next season.

 

Has anyone heard anything about this?

 

Apparently the director at Slough Heating is on the Mayfair Communications board and they are renting the ground for, WAIT FOR IT, £1 per bloody week!!!

no breach of lease if it is a clause

That's gotta be a wind up-I can't believe there's any money to be made by Thornes doing something like that.Does anyone use that club to drink in other than Slough fans.The golf is not as successful as it should be-so it will be come a "white elephant" I reckon-as long as the council don't relent on planning applications.

The lease clause has football being played at its highest level. Slough Town FC are homeless and could quite happily continue playing there which would be at a considerably higher level than Slough Heating could wish for.

I dont think that you lot listen or read ,THE THORNS DO NOT HAVE TO PLAY FOOTBALL OF ANY SORT AFTER AUGUST, can't you get this into your thick heads.

Slough Heating - This was a part of Tony Southam's empire...yes the man who ran off with the computers and m..... from Alan Thorne so I would think this a very un likely combination....
