U18s

I went to my first U18 game this morning and I have to say I was very impressed by the standard. Slough were winning 4-2 when I left with a minute or two to go, and assuming there wasn't a catastophic end to the game, a semi final against Bracknell beckons.

It was 5-2. Slough travel to Bracknell Town in the semi-final.

Finished 5-2 in the end.

 

Was very impressed with the way they played, especially Kyle Jeffrey who looked very comfortable playing in front of his back 4 in the "Makelele" role.

 

What is noticeable, beside the positive way they play football is the fantastic team spirit they have between themselves.

and a great win....Just so you know this Slough team lost to Bracknell in the semi finals last year , so they will need to be at their best against Bracknell...this game is to be played on sunday 15h mar - venue TBA...

I think Bracknell usually play their youth games at Larges Lane. Think I read the quarter-final against Maidenhead was there. Hopefully will get to this one as will quite a few other supporters.
