Banst 1 v 1 BG

Good game.. 2 world class saves from Banns keeper and a pen save,

Fair result on day, El Gaffer looks balder than ever..Well done to Dave Tidy..If you don't take ur chances you don't win games...Maybe we should start a thread not who will win the league but who want's to win the league...

Camberley 2 Egham 2

Quite right Weeble if you dont take your chances you do not deserve to win, Cambo dominated the first 70 mins should have been 4 or 5 up. Fair play to the Sarnies they were completely outplayed for that time but still held in and came back to get a draw

Colliers Wood 2-1 Bookham

Thought we deserved a point and had to play last 20 with 10 men as 3 subs made and player pulls his hammy .......typical.

That's how it goes level the other day and got 3 points when a draw would have been fair, got nothing today when a draw would have been fair so we are a point up !!!

Two early goals put us in charge but credit to Wembley they still wanted to play their neat football. 2nd Half got another early goal & ran out easy winners in the end.

What a week we've had!!!!

Frimley 0 Westfield 3

Two poor teams, both struggling for players but Westfield kept things simple, made good consistant short passes, cleared their lines properly and took their chances. Frimley offered nothing and could not keep the ball. Don't think we had a single shot on target.

Westfield were 1 up at halftime from a needlessly conceeded free kick which was well executed, but my position was crap.

Westfield got a second with a free header from a corner and then a third following up after I made a save. We then had our right back sent off for stamping and then Mr Peters for a second yellow, then our centre half pulled his hammie but as we only had one sub (and he was used in the first half) we effectively played with 8 men, but then played good football as we had to keep it and keep the score down to 3.

Cobham 0 Bedfont 3

Early 1st half lead, to Cobhams credit they pushed us back but we were always dangerous on the break.

2nd half we took complete control, for all Cobhams hard work they may have deserved a goal all in all a nice win.

Cobham will almost definetly go down now but if they keep that squad together and add a couple of old heads they will bounce straight back up.

The Mighty Knappers March On!

A trip to Chobham is never easy, our nearest rivals are always looking to overturn the formbook. Unfortunately for them the Mighty Knappers are in no mood to relinquish their winning run which stretches back to the 27th of December. Despite going behind to a twice taken penalty and playing on a real pudding of a pitch, goals from Gavin Evans (2), Matt Baker and Chris Fox sealed a well deserved win.

With Mole Valley dropping points at Sheerwater, many thanks guys, the title is very much in Knaphill's hands. Although we do have a tough couple of weeks coming up with away trips to Hanworth Villa, Mole Valley and Dorking all within a week. Make or break time!

Light relief comes next Saturday with a cup semi-final against our arch nemesis, Staines Lammas. With confidence high in the squad, let's see who gets to go to Short lane, Stanwell on may Day Bank Holiday Monday.

COME ON YOU MIGHTY KNAPPERS!!!!
