Re: the striker debate....

Granted, when he came on he was largely ineffective on Saturday, but what has Kenny Pratt got to do to earn a place in the starting XI? He has been impressive on the whole since his return to the first-team squad, and, after his introduction against BW, we looked a completely different team. Yet, he was left out in favour of Taylor who has done little for the first team to warrant a place in the starting line-up. He was poor for the hour or so that he was on the pitch. Admittedly, our service to the frontmen was poor all game but I feel that, with Peters, Healy and Pratt, if we can keep the ball on the deck, we could hurt many teams.

Tend to agree with ac/dc here.

Its creating chances that is the key-create enough and we will score.

Even though we got three against BW-they were all from a form of set piece-and if we are honest-we did'nt exactly pepper the goalmouth with loads of chances going begging, and that was with peters, healey and Pratt.

To be fair, there was obviously a bit of pressure exerted to get the set piece chances.

They did fine that day-but again-you could hardly say we were massively threatening just the same.

Thats why i agree with some that we must shoot on sight-we are not good enough to create loads, so its shoot from 30 yards-anything can happen-deflections,great strikes, and at this level-you do get goalies spilling the ball;so as we can't create enough-as others say-just keep omn shooting.

Even shoot from the kick off in centre circle !

I remember Sigere almost scoring that way about 6 years ago
