I can confirm just spoke to John Hamshire and John was shocked to hear he had signed for chertsey... to set the matter straight john has not personally put pen to paper and physically signed any transfer forms to for Chertsey...

 

He did attend training last night but no forms have been signed.... just heard from the horses mouth...

Apparently, next season, all legally registered players names will placed into a hat, (possibly one of Teffers wooly ones), and drawn out to see which team they are to play for !

 

Allegedly, it'll stop all these player-movements, bungs, innuendo's, overpaying and general rumour mungering !

I have no idea the Club Sec deals with it as far as I have been told it is all done but if not the case so be it. John is very welcome back at the club (and the Guildford manager approved the approach before you ask ) and seemed happy to be back last night but if he or any other player does not wish to play for the club then no problem at all-we only want people that want to play for Chertsey and I think we have shown over the last couple of months we are getting closer
