Another POOR Team display I am afraid.

For me we had only a couple of Players who looked like they "wanted to play". The majority just seem to go thro the motions, after David Bastian said his goodbyes to all prior to the game, once he found he had been left out of the side.

There was no heart, no desire, no passion and overall not much good to say about this crap display.

The last three games have shown that Town have a long, long way to go if any improvement is to be made and a top 10 position obtained this season.

The "Play-off dream" which some supporters still talk about died many weeks ago and with these kind of poor performances a "dream" of what the season might have been is about it.

Dream On.

Dream On.

It seems that SM is intent on getting rid of every player from before his regime, and replacing them all with former players and mates of the various new members of his management team.If these new players were better than the players he is elbowing,i wouldn't mind, but they are obviously not.

Rudi will be the last man standing soon, from the pre SM era.

When I have to agree with everything that is said here I know that things are wrong and I am rapidly losing interesting in following the current side, I just never considered going to Witham and am thinking of not going Saturday.

I enjoyed the reserve game last night which involved a Town team that had some fight in it.

I'm afraid the hard truth is that Town need to bring in a manager (and players) who have proved they can be successful at this level.Getting management staff and players from mid table Ryman1 teams (as we have done in the past few seasons),will not help us gain promotion,it will only make us a mid table side as well.

I'll be making my first visit to the Emirates on Saturday too Steph so I may see you there. Despite being in the Arsenal section I still want Fulham to win though.

What was the team last night out of interest?

I must admit that things have turned rather sour the last couple of weeks and I too changed my mind about going last night, preferring to put my feet up and watch the footie on the box. The disappointing thing is how performances on the pitch had taken a turn for the better over the last month or so, only for our season to fizzle out and be over in mid-February.

They have taken tinkering to a whole new level which is now having an adverse effect on the squad. Admittedly injuries and suspensions are not helping at present, but for me we have brought in players that clearly aren't good enough, and worse than certain players who we have let go, i.e. Ricci, Jeff etc.

When Otis Williams made his first appearance for us as sub you could clearly tell he was not up to it, yet he has started at least 2 of the last 3 games. Why?? Sammy Winston does not fit into our side in my opinion and twice in the Northwood game he was tackling someone on his own side. Also appears very lazy and likes to get on others' backs. Just didn't warm to him put it that way.

We need to replace the departure of Stevenson/Wolf also as we have not done this yet. For me the Fitzgerald fella does not look to be the answer??

For me a starting line-up from Walton, Noel, Cameron, Wild, Mckie, Roberts, Mckoy, Hall, Marshall, Campana (appears to be a decent player??), Edgar and Deane is not the worst and we have to remember that these players were doing a good job a few weeks back. However, outside of these I do not think our squad players are good enough and as you can see injuries and suspensions (which are always likely in football) are showing this to be the case.

This is why it is most frustrating to see so many players coming and going. Not having a settled side is causing us major problems at the moment.
