Well,

At last a good performance and was nearly right Brunty. Deserved win, Will wait for Cove's comments regarding the match to see how they felt as it is often different when you are watching. JJ who was injured when you kicked the ball over the bar and why did your keeper keep passing it to our centre half.....

Another excellent result tonight, rode the storm for the opening 20 minutes, their forward blasted over an attempt with goal at his mercy. From then Ash got on top & took a two goal lead at ht. Got another midway into the second & could have had more to be honest. Badshot had a late flurry but we had done enough to win the game & continue to pull away from the bottom three

Great win for Bookham tonight 2-1 against Molesey, 90+2 min winner to snatch all 3 points.

Have to say was very impressed with Molesey, great movement all over the park and we had to match them to stay in the game.

The Molesey supporters made great noise too applause

Went to the Bedfont Green V Cove match tonight. Result was never in doubt and could have been a lot worse for Cove with BG bossing the game.

Think Judo boys shot might have landed in Bookham tonight, that's if it's come down yet. Think the B G goalie picked up an injured neck watching that go up and up.

Cove had no ideas other than to lump it long from the goalie and hope for set pieces. BG's passing was superb tonight and the pace of Henry and Blackburn split the back 4 time and time again.

BG have given themselves a great opportunity to take the title and playing like that it would be a brave man to bet against them.

All the best to both clubs for the rest of the season.

Yeah, Cookie and Titch have had to bring new faces in to bolster the squad. We had a few players quit when the vase run was over.

What did you make of the game?

Yes I would agree Elf Moley, draw would have been a fair result and yes would agree that was your down side but also think that will come back as there was some great passing moves and a couple of cracking crosses from open play that ripped us (and any team) to shreads but no one on the end of them.

As I said earlier we had to battle really hard to stay in the game and was really please with our boys effort. We created the better chances from open play but never really got the finish but our keeper pulled of at least 3 good saves mainly from set pieces.

only stayed for the first half - bit scrappy. Knaphill as good as they going forward are very weak at the back so thought you could have got at them a bit more. We certainly tried the other week when we played them but didnt take 2 golden chances and were punished as they have the best strikers in the league, Baker will hit 30 goals a season whatever level he plays at. Noticed your wingbacks dont like to defend ! :o) You captain is the one we need to keep quiet sat.

Weeble you were close with your prediction i think it was a fair result and it could have been worse if our keeper didnt make a few saves in the first half. For all BGs passing all of there goals came from long balls over the top that split our back 4 as we let it bounch or didnt deal with it. BG play to there strenghts, the 9 up top is very good (kevin davis lookalike)he holds it up so well and brings your little winger into play thats the BG threat, if you can stop that you shouldnt have much problem but two very good players IMO. Where as our front two didnt hold the ball enough and that put us under too much pressure. Wasnt all their fault cause as mentioned we kept punting it down the centrehalfs throat. Think BG will win the league. We were not good enough all over the pitch and beaten by a better side.

NIce to play on a decent pitch too.

Honest bunch of lads too No BTC for a side top of the league.

All the best for the rest of the season.

Thanks for those words No 1.

Felt we never got going in the first half and were generally poor all over the pitch and were trying to force passes that weren't on rather than keep ball. Poor marking from our young CB cost us from a corner.

After some strong words at H/T from both the management and myself the lads took it on board and IMO dominated the second 45 min with at times some very good passing, but as you say we just lacked that killer instinct in front of goal and were hit by a very well taken counter attack with 15 to go.

IMO we are a match for a good majority of the teams in this league when we play like we know we can, but atm we don't seem to be able to do that for 90 min every week and the inconsistency has killed us at times and I'm afraid the league doesn't lie!!

Onto Sat though and what will be another tough game against an in form Bedfont side, so will be a good battle for the 3 points.
