Obviously in a lot of trouble at the moment and lost 9-0 yesterday, but some suggestions that a new club under the Weymouth name could start next season in the South & West league.

I see the team they had to put out yesterday were older than the mascots but only just.

Apparently the average age of the team Weymouth put out yesterday was under 17. That's insane for a Conference National fixture!

 

As with last season, I can see Weymouth and probably a number of other clubs suffer with financial problems and drop down the leagues. This may of course mean the second bottom club in this league gets saved again. A trip to Weymouth would be quite nice though.

It was their entire youth team wasnt it ? as the first team werent insured those that hadnt walked out that is.

I believe their most experienced player was a 20-year-old on loan from Cambridge. The rest were youth/fringe players.

York city their next opponents have paid a cheque to weymouth to cover travel costs of their minibus in order for them to get their.

 

Know it sounds harsh but bet the bookies will still give fairly good odds on a york win

Maybe they would take sweetman off our hands with a bit of luck-after all he does manage the odd win in 10-and he might find youngsters a better lot to coach ( I use the word coach very loosely )
