Questions for rhodes

rhodes, I heard today that you recently approached a SSML club to become press secretary but the chairman of that club rejected your offer.

 

Is this true?

 

and how would this have affected your position as matchday secretary for Southill Alexander?

Lato - That's certainly news to me but even if I had it would have only been until the end of this season, don't forget that Southill Alexander won't be launched until next season and admitedly I have been feeling a bit like a spare wheel for a while now.

Well the match secretary of the club in question seemed pretty certain that someone with your name had contacted his chairman offering their services. Unfortunately the 'reputation' associated with that name warned him off. Maybe it it was someone pretending to be you or someone who shares your name.

 

However you do seem to be currently acting as the mouthpiece (official or otherwise) of Southill Alexander and your name is listed as an official on the website. That would suggest to me that you are devoting your energies to that concern which is fair enough. However, that would imply you cannot really devote your full attention to another club, and keep up your bewildering volume of correspondence of posts on assorted web forums oh and make the tea or whatever it is you do at the MoD.

lato you are one of the first to complain about rhodes winding things up on here and yet you have deliberately set out with this new thread to engineer a row...

 

go and have a 5 mile run or whatever you level 7 types do on a sunday and give us all a break from your double standards...

Unc - Thanks for putting Lato in his place, there are plenty of good films for him to go and watch such as those nominated for an Oscar at the awards ceremony on Tuesday. He may be right though and it could be Keeper No.1 up to his tricks again, that's the sort of thing he would do pretending he is me and it would have been helpful had Lato indicated which Club was approached which he has conveniently failed to do. I don't think I am acting as a mouthpiece for Southill Alexander at all, that's currently the CEO's department and my role won't kick in until August at the earliest.

Unc - Yes but I still can't understand why so many people want the exciting venture to fail and to see us with egg on our faces, they should be supporting us all the way.

I don't think they do rhodsey...its likely an overspilll from your spats with other posters over the past years....these forums are but a minority of people from the leagues...

its better to just move on and ignore it all...
