Looks like Weymouth could go into administration tomorrow.

Weymouth are ten points clear of the relegation zone, with 14 matches to go. Lewes are 15 points adrift from the fifth bottom, and Northwich 12 adrift.

Assuming four go down (from recent history, the bottom four rarely all go down, witness Northwich who have escaped several times), that leaves two places up for grabs or avoidance.

Grays and Barrow occupy the two relegation places at the moment, with Woking level on points with Barrow.

Forest Green, York and Gravesend are also close, but they should all be able to stay clear.

So the question is whether Grays, Barrow or Woking can overhaul Weymouth - it could be very close.

In the Conf North, four of the top five all have the grounds and facilities (and the support) to go up, and in the Conf South, Wimbledon are home and dry, and of the next four I would guess that only Chelmsfor are able to cope with the higher level.

So it looks like four will want to go up - but how many of the bottom four will actually go down?

Doesn't bode at all well.

Interesting point, Urchinman61 !

Wasn't he 'implicated' in another club before that, even ?
