Apparently not due to the thawing and over 2 inches of rain yesterday.
We are already doubtful for Saturday let alone tomorrow GP.
Need a dry week IMHO!

Wasn't doubting the unplayability (if there's such a word) of the pitch CC, just meant that Bookham had to go through getting the ref to inspect today at 1.30 even though they knew it was definitely going to be off, wasn't given any choice to pp in advance...

Can't add anymore really except I spoke to Tony Hurrell today who had spoken to Alan C at the league re our situation.

I never put anything out unless I am given the nod to.

Think common sense has prevailed IMHO!

I was also informed late last night that I could have called the game off, but had already spoken to the match referee and arranged for a ref to inspect today so left it to the officials to call the game off eventhough it was unlikely to be playable.
