defensivly in the first half we was poor and the players realised that. but either they between themselves sorted it out or TY and NS sorted them out.

but second half was excellent best iv seen in a long time and not conceding goals was we was before

As others have said, not too sure where all this nonsense about us being overrun in the first half has come from. Admittedly, they did have a number of chances but, again as others have said, that is because we, as the home team, and fancying our chances against very average opposition, took the game to them. Naturally, this leaves you open to the counter attack.

 

Interesting point has been raised re: selection now. After the way they all played, I think all of the starting XI would feel agrieved not to keep their place in the team (bar injuries / suspensions of course) and I would feel confident that that same team could pick up points against most opposition in this league. Then we also have Bailey, Morris, McGibbon, Taylor, Cliff (when all fully fit) all chomping at the bit to get a place in the team. Certainly a nice headache for the management to have.

Will help Terry that Ryan and Curtis will be out on Saturday plus Curtis for another two games. Shame as I thought he looked good on left side on Saturday.

To be fair to Michael, I guess reading MOTM etc he must have thought Tooting were all over us first half which as we know from those who were at the game was far from the truth.
