Pat Mullins MOTM to me, if not for him we would have been dead and buried by half time.

Well done to Joe Taylor who produced the 2nd goal out of nothing. Just by simply charging a back pass to the keeper down. Forcing the keeper to mis-kick, the ball eventually falling at the feet of Ryan, for a simple slotted pass into the goal. Bulldog spirit, well done Joe!

Hard to call MOTM this week (similar to the last home game). Mullin is my choice though for his first half saves that kept us in it.

 

Great to see everyone putting themselves on the line for the team, a sure sign that spirit is good IMO. There's a belief around the team now that we're good enough to stay up, we just need to find the net on a regular basis.

 

Don't want to single anyone out because they all deserve a lot of praise.. but Robinson, Stubbs, Pratt, Young......they all had great games.

 

Hopefully Corbs is ok for next week as Curtis will be suspended.

Corbishley was a consistent menace to their defenders when he was on today,both with his forward displays & with his long throws.

Hope he isn't out for too long.

Great, overall deserved win. Every player really seemed to want to win every 50-50, wanted the ball and, most importantly, wanted the win. Mullin did keep us in it in the first half with a string of top saves, but it was a pretty even first half, they just created more than us.

 

But, in the second half, apart from perhaps a 10-minute spell, we dominated and really could have ended up scoring 4 or 5. When we play to our potential, we are a match for almost any team in this league and if we can play like we did in the second half yesterday until the end of the season, survival is not only a possibility, but a certainty.

 

Great to also see that we have only conceded one goal in three games now....MM, you must be the happiest man in the world!? Anyway, great win lads, now let's go to Hastings and get another three points!!
