Great show from the boys today , TY has got them playing some very very good football today and slowly but surely the goals are coming , a special mention about Curtis Robinson he had a bit of a shaky start but found his confidence and grew in stature as the game went on , will give him my MOTM when the vote comes in , also liked the look of Joe Taylor , there are a lot if young talented players at MFC its there job to keep them ( this is a must do ) again well done Blue boys great result . Again for me Curtis Robinson gets my MOM, but they were several players that worked their socks off out there today including Stubbs, Wilson, Harwood, Gregory, Pratt and we wouldn't have go the 3 points today without Mullins who made some excellent saves. Nice to see him back on form

 

Great to see team spirit growing between the lads and that the win means so much to them. Well done Terry & Big Nev whatever you are doing.

 

Would like to see more of Joe Taylor and was sorry to see Roberto go off injured.

 

All in all a good day at the office and a deserved win topped off by a Ramsgate loss of course.

Mullins without doubt kept us in with the chance to be victorious. He stood out a mile for m.o.t.m I thought.Don't get me wrong here, the whole team & their efforts deserve a mention but if it wasn't for Mullins we would have been 4 down by half-time & well out of it.

Good day all round & well done to all the squad today.They all wanted to win that game & they got their rewards.

Today was about delightful football for long periods,dogged defending,two precious & well taken goals & a clean sheet + Pat Mullins.

Very good game to watch,agree with above posts,Mullins,Curtis,Pratt,Stubbs,Willson were superb,in fact the whole team battled well to get this win,saying that I still feel we need a forward as so many good chances went begging today,all in all a good afternoon.Made it even better when AB won the meat raffle.....What was it Harvey???

Just got home and the general feeling is one of great elation, we wernt the best team in the first half, (thanks to Pat Mullin) we managed to keep them out.. They were and seemed to be more interested in arguing amongst themselves rather than playing a game of football. Didnt see Waynes goal (was in the bar - I know rare) but Ryan Peters goal was well taken and a brief insight into what that guy CAN do. Spoke to Terry and Pat after the game, Terry has EVERY confidence that the team will conquer any challenge thrown at them as they are growing in stature, and Pat said and I quote (the boys are really bonding and the dressing room is upbeat). All in all fellas we snatched three points and are back in the mix..

3 at the back and thought young Luke had a vey solid game for one so young particularly late in the second half when he made some crucial contributions, great for his confidence. Also great atmosphere I thought with loads of support and encouragement. Lots of positives today, lets hope we can keep it up.

Spoke to Nathan (Bailey) today & he said that he had passed a pre-match fitness test but that TY thought it best to give him just one more week to be on the safe side.

Nathan is chomping at the bit to get out there & hopefully remedy the problem we have of finding the net.(It was still evident, even today & despite us scoring twice).
