A couple of areas on the pitch were under water last night...plus it piss_ed down at times during the day and night!

The good news, though is that the England Six Nations game at Twickenham is very much on. Another opportunity to see a bunch of Italians going backwards for 80 minutes or so.

More chance of Hullbridge arranging a friendly with Rothwell than Italy doing anything at all tomorrow.

 

9 o'clock train from Southend, get to St. Margarets for opening time, stroll to the ground a few hours later and see Andrew Sheridan grind some Italian noses into the mud. If the visitors get a bit frustrated and try to lash out, which they may well do, a few slaps being administered would make it all the more enjoyable.

 

Sort of beats Bees v Enfield at The Hive.
