Sorry, Rick. I realised after i'd posted that they weren't in the blog as directed on the Angels forum. At the time if i took the trouble to look i could find them at the top on the home page. No longer being topical to Saturday, i obviously didnt' scroll down far enough tonight. But, there they are in all thier glory... I luv those pics!

And playable it was, just a few hours, and a month's worth of rain in a day later, a connie ref, and a ryman ref, take a look and deem our pitch worthy of a game...which we won.

I was pleasantly suprised how well the pitch stood up last night. Contrary to expectations it didn't deteriorate into a quagmire & had plenty of "bounce" allowing us to play some quality football.

 

It vindicated the decision of the ref brought in early last Saturday, who passed it playable, & the hard work put in by all those who voulenteered to help get it into shape.
