Yes Alan. Those who predicted a spot for the them lower than 18th will benefit whilst those predicting a higher spot will lose out. Not by much but both swings will change things somewhat, however lets not get too carried away here,they haven't officially been docked the points yet & its quite possible they won't have them docked either after an appeal (of which hasn't been decided on yet we are led to believe).

Yes but I reckon they will be advised to leave things & accept the punishment.Just an inkling I have & I suppose me saying that will push them into doing so now.

Maybe they are slightly concerned that a further punishment could be handed to them if they fail.Cost must come into it too.Surely they have to pay a fee for appealing & that could be lost also if they fail.

I agree Tony, at the end of the day they misinterpreted the rule IMO so don't really have grounds for an appeal.
