It was in the non league paper some weeks ago, Lodgey has signed for Kettering. Wonder what reception he will get next season.

I think he will do well, he is a good quality experienced player. AFF is right, he used to be left full back at Boston and was highly regarded.

Maybe you should think that it could have been the players around him. When i saw him play he was the player they all looked for down the wing, now that has got to tell you something!

Anyway, i think everyone should stop calling Kettering, they will give Canvey a good run for there money next season for the championship. And if we can't keep players of Lodgey quality, i think this season will be a good season to remember, and just hope we can finish at least mid table next season!

That's a true statement, he used to get a lift with Challinor but that obviously went to pot. Good Luck to Lodgey, but not when he plays us next season!

What are you confused about EFM. As you know Lodgey had a very serious car accident last year, if this wasn't bad enough he was very much over the limit and got a two year ban, hence he can not drive to games! It is a bloody long walk to St A from Peterborough!

Garry Butterworth who has recently signed for Kettering is also Peterborough born, so i gather he will be gettig a lift with him.

Do you understand now?

Erm! OK

but I was saying your statement didn't make sense, nothing to do with car crashes (and i didn't know), your statement makes no reference to that anyway, just saying it didn't make sense

I'm just saying that we need to keep our best players, as teh season just gone will be a good season to remember as i don't think we will finish so high again!

So i have read over my log and it didn't make a lot of sense, too early!

Yes Lodgey rolled his car on the motorway and laid in a ditch unconscious for 4 hours. St A said in programme he was unfit due to Hamstring but this was the real reason.

ST Albans would never have reported that a new recent signing that they have bragged about, as it happened two weeks after he signed, had been involved in a car crash due to Alcohol, would not have looked good for the club would it?

He was in hospital for 2 days with serious head injuries, i am surprised you did not see it when he returned, he has a gash down the right hand side of his face. Talk has it he was very lucky to still be alive.

No probs. I know you shouldn't drink and drive. He has paid dearly for it though, i used to know one of his Boston team mates and Andy was supposed to be going to America at the end of the season. In between him leaving Boston and joining St A he went for trials and a team in South Carolina contacted his agent and they wanted him to sign for them, he was all set to sign and then he had his car crash. So he could not afford to go then, the accident cost him a fortune as he wrote off another vehicle.
