Reading various pages on these forums...I VERY MUCH DOUBT IT.

Ware's pitch reported to be like a ploughed field - now covered in snow and ice.

When was the last time Town went to Ware and witnessed a "good playing surface" ?

My bet - Game OFF.

Well I left home this morning at 5.30am & walked back in my house at 6.50am, i couldnt get out the village!!

So unless there is a major thaw I doubt it will be on, although Im told Enfield is now clear of snow & its raining, either way cant see it going ahead.

 

But make sure you bring your yellow golf balls Saturday Dad!!

If the surface goes soft Ware will want to play it. Big home advantage against more skillful teams.

I'm just half a mile from Wodson Park and I can confirm that most of the snow has gone from here. There's just a light dusting on the fields and sleet is forecast for later today so I reckon the game could go ahead if the pitch isn't too heavy.

Don't think there is much chance of that.
Ware's pitch has been critisised by other teams for a number of weeks, being referred too as a ploughed field !
