Yeah, copied it years ago from an MSN search after my first Roma match and kept it. I sort of know a fair amount of the words to sing along to now but still a little shaky after a couple of verses so just shout the Roma, Roma part after that with the scarf raised.

 

It's pretty awe inspiring when you have a full Olympic Stadium when the teams come up. I still get the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when I went to a Roma-Lazio derby 5 or 6 years ago. My lad absolutely adores AS Roma, too, although he couldn't understand why there were only about 200 Parma fans when he went. Luckily, Totti was in one of those moods that day and Adriano was young and hungry for success so he saw a superb game.

 

I just thought, too, that being abstract and going off on a tangent would lighten the mood on here a bit.

The name of the song is "Grazie Roma!Thanks Roma and Antonello Venditti a roman and romanist singer wrote it for them when he was invited to their scudetto celebrations in 1983.It's quite an inspiring song and being sang by 80000 people in a stadium can be quite impressive.Adriano was quite good for Parma that season before hitting every night club and Romanists don't like Inter,Juventus and Napoli.Even if i'm a Lazio supporter i still like to sing it because it's quite good.
