Relegation Battle

Who do you think will win the fight, and what do you think the bottom of the league will look like?

For me, I think the bottom of the league will be as follows:

17 - Harlow - 53

18 - Margate - 47

19 - Harrow - 46

20 - Ramsgate - 44

21 - Hendon - 43

22 - Heybridge - 42

It's gonna be tight, but I think we can just scrape through...

Agree to that theres going to be a team or two that has a bad run and gets dragged into it. Stey, what if we appeal and get back the four points, that would give us a massive boost and imo give us confidence to win a few. Horsham away for us saturday who have bad home form, then heybridge at home. Also with all these games called off and other teams having a few games in hand on both of us, does this help or hinder as soon teams will playing twice a week.

Don't forget if they appeal & lose that appeal they will get 2 further points deducted on top of the 4 already mentioned & or a further fine. Frivolous appeal they will put it down to. Better win it then guys whistle

I asked on our forum if we appealed and lost could we then have more points taken off us.Is that correct Tony or just presuming?

Just teasing RamsB. Was looking for a reaction from your lot that's all. Was just my bit of fun.(did you see me whistling)

Mind you it has been known to happen before with frivolous appeals & many a true word said in jest, isnt that how the saying goes.Didn't you get fined for the appeal after it was turned down or was that for the original punishment with the 4 points?

Looking at the wording of that rule though it does look like your club has acted properly BUT the Ryman wouldn't surely deduct 4 points & then throw out an appeal without good reason. It just might be that they know more about this than we know.Or maybe they just made an error of judgement & can't admit to it.They are certainly going to look like idiots if its turned round by the FA that's for sure.

Everyone will just have to wait & see what the FA make of it I suppose.

Of course it is Ramsgate's fault Ian, they should have checked with the league before playing a 3rd loan player, strange no other club has fallen foul of the rule!

I am sure Jeff will correct me if I am wrong but, last season we had

John Akinde & Luke Coleman on loan at the same time.

Then after they left Karl Calder-Andrews and Ryan Peters

And finally Jamie Lovegrove.

That is a total of 5 players and never more than 2 who were on loan at any time.

In response to the original post, I really do think it could all hinge on Saturday's result. A win could give the lads some much-needed confidence to go on a good run; a defeat, and the table will certainly look very grim.

Also, a win could drag Tooting right into the mix. Massive massive game.
