The Stansted manager was far from quiet earlier this season mind. In fact he was extremely loud and angry at The Hive as the mischievous PA man was relaying the latest score at White Hart Lane from Spurs v Sunderland. The handful of spectators appreciated it a lot more though.

I was at that game, that was the reason I thought you supported West Ham, you're right he was really angry, however he was the coach especially as the manager supports West Ham and was winding him up even more.

Was funny though.

I'm pleased to have brought a ray of sunshine, then, to both players and officials as well as spectators that day. I did accidentally forget to mention the point where Spurs equalised. Cliffy wasn't happy either. He thought I was having a pop at him too.

 

Having a bit of fun is always that much better when it's compounded by someone having a total sense of humour failure. Just like that Stotfold player who was sent off and I asked the crowd to give him a round of applause. I thought Craig Gillam was going to kiss him when I said that, let alone clap.

We all have our moments. Just remember those good times, Gaffer, and take them with you when you're manager of a better club - which will happen.

 

In the meantime I'm not sure Enfield supporters will remember ever reading their club history as it appears in Saturday's programme ....
