margateshot,you ve been a member since 04 so you should know mark quite well,mark is more then good enough..lets remember margate are not a pro club.we,re at the lower end of the non league set up.7 or 8 of our players did play sunday morning football, aiso i think your find jim ward won two titles with ramsgate, but who was the manager befor jim who got the hardcore of the team together.......... mark !!!!!!!! ive got alot of respect for ex pro footballers , so when i read [****!!****] comments like yous ,it pisses me off !!....

Prehaps not a good Manager was harse. Mark is a great professional who works well with players on the coaching side. I just don't believe if you asked Mark he would want to do the job. A manager at any level of football needs to have his finger on the pulse so to speak, he needs to know the players at this level so he knows who would do a job and who wont make it at this level. You can't put all youngsters or reserves in a rymans prem side and expect them to perform at that level. Thats why imo Mark is important to keep at reserve level because he does an excellent job bringing those youngsters through which is now paying dividens. But the way Ive know and worked along side Mark over the last 18 years his son works for me as did his daughter I class him and his family as very good friends and I don't see him disagreeing with my comment quite the contary. Finally I don't support Chelsea either more a pie and mash man thanks.

No doubt in my mind Mark continues to do a geat job at the club and has done so for some years, if and only if the horrid was to happen to us then we would have to re structure again, and who knows what budget we would have it is not inconceivable that Mark would be considered as manager if that position became available.
