Did Mark Wright really never captain England? He definitely made his Southampton debut around Easter 1982 - I was at Southampton Uni at the time and a regular at the Dell.

 

On the subject, as this has got me all nostalgic, Wright was part of a deal that saw Trevor Hebberd and George Lawrence move to Oxford in exchange for Mark Wright and A.N. Other. I'm desperately trying to remember who A.N. Other was.
