dale is a good goalkeeper and we wish him well....he has certainly done well for hx in his time there....as indeed have many other good players over the years...not just goal keepers but outfield players also...

we have many still at Hx...mostly unsung heroes who ply there trade every week and get on with it through rain snow and sleet....we love them all in the red and white shirts but sometimes for whatever reason a player moves on and thats the business they are in and they know that....its the life that they choose...

we have a manager who manages our team and that manager has the full support of the club...hopefully the supporters also....he is one of the most experienced managers in NLF and we must trust him to do his job which is to choose players that can win football matches....forget all the bollox about passing football this that and the other from embittered whinging fans from clubs who we have just taken three points off....its about winning games and thats all colin wants to do...he is not there for money (just as well ) he is there to win and on his limited resources he does that very well...

I wish dale well and I am sure he will do well wherever he goes but he's gone and we have a new keeper now and he is the one that we need to get behind....

My enduring memory of Dale will be... while waiting at the HX clubhouse for the heroic arrival of the team following the Muff game... He literally bounded in. Threw himself into the bar. Jumped with raised fist in the air. And aimed straight for Mentals open arms! Happy days...
