Town v's Northwood

Enfield United

Recommended Posts

Weather permitting we should be treated to another cracker v's Northwood.

I can see all those Town supporters returning from Saturday to watch this one too. Anyone who missed Saturday should come down, wrap up warm and watch some of these new Town players gracing our small stadium, they are top class for RLN.

I'm going for a 3-0 win.

I think Gazza's right: postponed looks the likely outcome otherwise Andy's game plan looks faultless.

Took 30 minutes to travel 3 miles this morning. Closed the centre and then another 30 minutes to get back home.

Travelling was fine until a guy came out of a side turning oblivious to the road conditions and the fact that it was still snowing. Managed to just round round him. Mind you, he did put up his hand and thank me!!!

Left home at 5am to a light dusting of snow, all roads around here even the village had been gritted, listening to the radio I thought they was talking about another planet, no buses, this road blocked, that road shut, but then I reached Royston & the A10, which bizarrely had not been gritted from Royston to the M25, well what fun that was, it was like the demolition derby, cars & lorries stranded unable to get up hills, still I carried on & didnt get over 25mph all the way to work which I reached about 7am.

Just in from the return journey home & although the roads were a lot better there are still parts of the A10 dual carriageway still not gritted that only have one lane driveable & up around Buntingford its proper exciting stuff negotiating a roundabout!

Tell me why I saw people on motorbikes & cyclists trying to negotiate the conditions? doah Total nutters!
