I hope you are right BM.

I'm sure bailey will be a good addition, but i'm not quite so certain that Bailey is an out and out striker/goalscorer-is'nt he more of a guy who storms down the flanks ?

My view is as follows.

Last season 50 points was relegation.

We've got 25 points to date. So 25+ points required from 14 games left to play, a total of 9 wins and 5 loses.

Therefore we have to start looking at nothing else but wins.

If I was Terry Yorath I would carry 3 players, already at the club, on the bench.

If we still require goals with 35-40 mins of the game left I would send all 3 on together. All 3 very fast, great close control, always look for each other and have skill in abundance. Whenever I've watched the 3 play the opposition can not stop them, from scoring goals, goals, goals. They have a 6th sense when playing together.

Their names are Jason McAree, Chris Lewis and Shane Brown.

They'll be playing against tired legs in 2nd half of games and it's got to be worth a go, as to date nothing else has really worked. Yet it has to be all THREE not just one or two of them.

Try it out for one game and if it doesn't work go back to the drawing board. Yet in my own mind I know it will.

My view Hippy is that 45 points may be enough or less.

Agree with Ronks lets see how next couple of games go, I have seen these lads too for the Reserves and, yes, have pace but a big step up for them IMO.

Terry is doing it the right way, slowly but surely with lads like Wheatley, Cliff, Robinson etc, am sure the lads you mention will get their chances next season.

Are they actually playing for the Reserves together though Hippy, as we are not scoring that many goals in those games either? I only get to see home games and I have not seen them together yet.

They play together most weekends. Stuck away six goals between the three of them this weekend in about an hour before being substituted for Generation Sports.

They played this weekend for the reserves away to Sevenoaks. Due to injuries/ilnesses and when there's "trialists" or first teamers playing for the reserves they normally give way. I guess because they're all registered for Generation Sports and can get a game in that way.

Others on show for Gen Sports include Jimmy McClean, Paul Axon, Chaz Albrecht, Dan Hughes and Anthony Woodward. All under the leadership of Phil Fennell.
