Same old story, really. Some pretty football but lack of an end product - we are still desperately missing that finisher/poacher a la Hockton/Pinnock but our financial predicaments and current position means it is unlikey we will bring the required quality in now. We are as good as any team in this division on our day which makes it even more frustrating. We now have 14 "cup finals" until the end of the season and still have a chance but even with TOTS giving us a helping hand (table doesn't show a 4 point deduction yet!)it will be an amazing achievement if we do stay up.

Sometimes its the most obvious things that 'go missing' and AB makes a very good point-reading the reports every week-he seems to be right-alot do go 'just too high.

Easier said then done though i guess, as you tend to snatch at the shot to steal the extra second before a defender closes down, plus theres the 'panic' accompanying the pressure and resp[onsibility of needing to score.

Something to work on though.

at least if keeper has to make a save-always a small chance of him spilling it ?

IMO yesterday was a continuation of last week. By which I mean that the players had a heck of a game and took it to Tonbridge at every opportunity. They may argue that they had a bad game but it comes down to'on the day' and they were lucky to get the points I think. With banned or injured players not being an issue yesterday I am bloody sure we would have nicked the game. Particularly as some players were out of position, from last weeks game, and therefor making us slightly less ineffectual than we could have been.

I await, with great anticipation, the next game/s and still maintain that the team will survive and remain in this league. They have started to click with each other and some of yesterdays football from them was extremely encouraging and entertaining. As already stated we were lacking the finish yesterday but that wasnt he case last week.

There seems to be a bit more belief around the team at the moment and long may it reign.

To be fair to the lads they had a first half shot by Jackson Okaham cleared of the line,Ryan Peters was taken down when going past last man. and not even a free kick given let alone a sending off. Dan Young played a great ball into danger area at the end of the game, finding Joe Healey who someone did not find the touch needed to poke the ball home. You also have to remember this Angels side have scored 54 goals so two youngsters in Robinson and Wheatley to keep them quiet for so long is a remarkable achievement in itself IMO.
