Molesey 4-1 Banstead

 

Molesey bounced back perfectly from their disappointment against Badshot Lea

 

Matt Baxter scored 2 in as many minutes in the first ten minutes, then a bit later on in the half Sam Lampard added a third.

 

Then Banstead pulled one back with a great strike

 

But Molesey scored a fourth late on when Matt Baxter completed his hat trick when Steve Windergaard made the error of kicking the ball against Baxter.

 

Windergaard had a horrible season last year with Molesey and was giving a lot of stick to Baxter just before he completed the hat trick - Hence the massive cheers after the goal!

prob fair result , with our 10 men, ref was the worst i have ever seen. Dont know his name will see when the mitoo site updates, honestly i hope we dont get him again, young lad 25-30 black hair awful skin.

Krooner do you know the referee in question, i havent moaned about any refs this season, but on this occasion i cannot help myself, ive just booked myself in for rehab because of that ref

Our game against Colliers Wood today was called off at about 9-9.30 this morning I find this a bit strange.

Should have added something to my earlier posts; The Sweeney were a different gear throughout the match, it's a hard place to create an atmosphere but our players certainly noticed you so keep it up lads!

I agree with Willo and JJ. I didnt think it was a foul on Jurg and to be fair Cove deserved at least a point. The prooblem I felt was that the players thought it didnt matter if they wasted a chance as another would be along a couple of minutes later. When you are playing a top side you are more focused because you know you will not get many chances. You have to hand it Cobham though. Mostly kids and they battle like their lives depend on it.

Dont disagree that cove had enough chances and should have put this game to bed.

but the fact is they didn't and whilst it remained nil nil there was always the chance that we would snatch one, which we did. unfortunatly to lose all the points with what was all but the last kick of the game, in fact made it feel like a loss. had we come of at 0-0 the feling would have been totally different.

yes have to admire your team spirit Jake it is top notch but in a game where we created so many good chances you have to see where JJ is coming from,just come off the phone to Koo and we reckon if we had a Coops/Pomroy type player up top we might have sewn this league up allready

you dont get it, this REF should not be allowed to REF at this standard, even there players were saying it, i dont think there is anybody from Raynes Park vale on here but if there was they would back me up

Was a disappointing attendance today generally but hopefully the couple of new fans we had there will come back again and it'll continue to grow.

 

Well done Bedfont Green, did exactly what we did last year - play below par but still get the result. We finally got into gear into the second half but both your keepers were on top form!
