Maybe it's not yet a run but, snow allowing, we have the opportunity Tuesday to make it so!

A great perfomance today, I thought. Personally it was probably my most enjoyable game so far this season. To visit a team who are 4th in the league, won 5 out of their last 6, unbeaten at home and come away with all 3 points shows that we have a quality squad who seem at last to be "clicking".

Great, hard-working performances all round. And far better defensively than we've been of late. Sutton seemed to offer very little, and if that's a sign of what it takes to make the top 4 there is hope for us yet!

Having been very critical of some of our recent performances, I have to say that this was a very positive performance. We worked hard and whatever the result the players couldn't have put anything more in from an effort and commitment point of view. There's a little bit more to come in terms of form and confidence, particularly in attack, but if we keep putting in the hard yards like we did today we'll get there.

There's a lot of games to play yet this season, but if we can maintain the standards set today then we've got a chance.

I thought it was a fantastic performance from our lads yesterday.

We were up against a big, strong side - unbeaten at home in the league on a very heavy pitch but dug in (almost literally!) and showed the collective effort, determination and desire to win the game. Our xi (plus Leon when he came on) never gave up, chased every ball and secured a hard-fought win.

Our lads were out on their feet at the end but I hope they felt the same level of satisfaction that the fans did. The team played for each other and it showed.

Once again the merits of a clean sheet displayed themselves in abundance. Tucker made some great saves in the first half and in the second half Sutton had far fewer opportunities. They had a penalty shout turned down (although as was pointed out to me, the appeal was more by the fans than the players who didn

I can't say much more to what jl has written. A hard fought victory with every player giving more that 100%.

A satisfied feeling was experienced by myself and my passengers on the way home (I'm sure all the travelling Blues Supporters had the same).

Well done lads and more of the same please.

A hugely contrasting performance from the last away game at Harrow, every 'one trick pony' gave 100% yesterday. The defense worked incredibly hard throughout, although it was a heart in mouth moment when they hit the post with the last kick of the game.

Six points out of six off them - not a bad return with only one trick.

Lets keep it going.

Absolutely spiffing result to come back from Surrey with 3 points. Brilliant team performance with all working hard and supporting each other. On a poor pitch which did not really help our line up of two quick wing men and 3 officials who we decided must have had a day out from the Bognor circus the lads showed determination and committment and got the result they deserved.

well done and weather permitting lets have another performance like that on Tuesday.

I've taken my time to post on this thread as I waiting for the smugness I felt to subside.

A single point would have been a good result at Sutton, but to take all three, (six in total) was fantastic.

On a soft and bobbley playing surface that wasn't suited to flowing football, it was a game that would be decided by grit and determination. Our lads showed greater heart on the day and came away victors. For various reasons this was a particularly pleasing result for me.

If we can put in that kind of effort regardless of the oppositions league position, then we'll be ok.

Well done lads, a well deserved win.

Agree, a fantastic game and a fantastic win.

When did we sign Big Dunc's identical twin brother? The one that plays up front for us? Big Dunc was immense at both ends of the pitch - a very important first goal for him and a very precious 3 points for the team. Good job!
